Read to Learn Book Library
Read to Learn is a collection of heavily illustrated stories in a graphic-novel style that is intended for transition-age students and features age-appropriate content with contemporary life-skill themes. It's available as a set of books and as software that's read to the user.
The Read to Learn Book Library includes eight student readers with a total of 184 stories. Each reader features activities and student assessments to improve and test user comprehension. These allow your child to be self-sufficient while studying the material.Life Skill Readers features 40 stories with community themes. Colorful photos showing skills in context complement the easy-to-read text.
Social Story Readers includes 16 illustrated stories depicting common social issues at school and home.
Safety Skills Reader uses 26 illustrated stories to introduce safety issues in the context of everyday activities in community, home, and work environments.
Connections in the Workplace includes 36 illustrated short stories profiling Maria's and Jerome’s on-the-job experiences.
Self-Determination Readers explores self-determination issues in 16 illustrated stories.
Do the Right Thing uses 25 illustrated stories to analyze community-based social situations.
Focus on Feelings features 19 photo-illustrated stories about human emotions.
Dynamite Emotions includes six graphic-novel-style stories that deal with controlling anger and frustration.
